n 2016, I faced a situation that challenged the boundaries of my faith alone.
Back in 2000, I embraced Evangelical Christianity and wholeheartedly engaged in Bible Study, Evangelism, and active participation in my church. In 2003, I was ordained, and my journey eventually led me to attend Seminary. After completing my Master of Divinity degree, I found great fulfillment in my ordination within the Anglican tradition, which I have come to deeply cherish. My life was enriched by a profound love for scripture, a strong commitment to tradition, and the opportunity to serve as a military chaplain. However, in 2016, I experienced a betrayal that left me utterly speechless. It was during this time that I discovered my faith alone couldn't fully address the situation at hand. It felt as if my life had been edited, revealing scenes I never knew existed.
In the midst of this turmoil, I turned to Angel Tarot for solace and guidance. Through the study of Tarot and working with angels, I found a means to navigate my pain and gain a deeper understanding of my path. Over the years, I delved further into this tradition, only to discover its uncertain origins and potential connections to a Gnostic Christian group known as the Cathars. However, I will delve into these details later.
Tarot and other metaphysical arts have proven to be invaluable tools, yet I still felt a calling to uphold tradition. I came to realize that the metaphysical arts are fully compatible and consistent with Christianity. Unfortunately, over time, religion has distanced itself from the metaphysical, resulting in a less vibrant and complete expression of Christianity than it could be.
